Microsoft has always had a great philosophy around accessibility and introduced me to the idea of temporary disability. It’s a great way to broaden one’s perspective on how much impact making your product more accessible has.

It's that time of the year! Time to get your early-bird #cssday tickets over at cssday.nl/2023

And do we have a line-up for you ...

Today is my first day back at work after a long Christmas break. I've read so many articles, I've tested so many programming techniques, and I can't wait to start using them. I know that's not what a break is supposed to be about, but I'm just about to embark on the biggest project in my carrier, and I’m so excited.

I think 2023 is going to be the best year yet!

@ivory finally got the beta and I love it. It’s like coming home. That “boosted by..” information really sticks out though and is in a different location than in Tweetbot which messes with my brain. I don’t think it’s so important that it deserves to be that prominent.

He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

Not sure how "promotion" flies here, but I want to share that all the talks from #ffconf 2022 are live and freely available to watch (or listen to) on The Archive ffconf.org/talks/ - in fact, there's 96 talks over the 13 years we've been running, not a single repeat speaker too.

A wonderful thanks to the amazing speakers (whom tootfiles I can't find easily!!!) - you're all loved 😍

I love this attention to details. It is these small animations that gives your customers a smile when they use your app. I know that I need one when I check the energy prices.

Hey, have you checked out this year’s 12daysofweb.dev advent calendar yet? You should!

Many of the people I follow on Twitter seem to have a presence here, and good websites usually have an RSS feed that works even better, so I think this will be ok.

The only thing I need to figure out is how to keep up with conference announcements.

I’ve never been a frequent writer on Twitter, but I use it constantly to gather links and tips, so it will be hard to let go. But it has to be done. I’ve already left everything related to Facebook and staying on a platform that welcomes neo-nazis while banning journalists feels wrong.

Let’s hope that this will work out.
